Services were held for Myrtis Rolene Longino Lancaster at 10 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2003, in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield, Louisiana, with Reverend Kelly Tingle officiating. Burial followed in the Couley Double Church Cemetery in Winnfield, Louisiana.
Ms. Lancaster, 76 years old, was a resident of Winnfield, Louisiana. She passed away Saturday, October 25, 2003 at the Parkview Nursing Home in Winnfield, Louisiana. She was a member of South Winnfield Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Ms. Lancaster is survived by her three daughters, Jeannette Carpenter and husband Donald of Calvin, Louisiana, Janice Russo and husband Pat of Metairie, Louisiana, and Lana Blake and husband Ricky of Winnfield, Louisiana; one son, Michael Lancaster and wife Lauren of West Monroe, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Tommy Longino and wife Sara of Pensacola, Florida; one sister, Sylvia Ambrose of Killeen, Texas.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelia Ann Conn Moreno.
Pallbearers were Michael Moreno, Edward Moreno, Brian Blake, Ricky Blake, Bradley Griffin, and Donald Carpenter.
