Lola Mae Long Anderson, 74, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, in Bluefield, W.Va.
She was born in Sugar Grove to the late Kilby and Hallie Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Allen Rogers, and a daughter, Anita Bullins.
She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include one son, Jesse E. Rogers, Mountain City, Tenn.; four daughters and a son-in-law, Patty and Michael Medley and Donna Kearney, all of Sugar Grove, Helen Rogers of Bluefield, W.Va., and Lisa Davis of Bristol, Tenn.; one brother and sister-in-law, Rex and June Long of Sugar Grove; one sister, Sadie Garrick of Sugar Grove; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Summit Baptist Church. The Rev. Jody Blevins and the Rev. Bobby Baker officiated the ceremony. Interment followed in Slemp Cemetery. Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion was in charge of arrangements.
