Ortha was the daughter of Albert and Lettie Williams
Ortha's siblings are/were a brother Jim (Louise) Williams and a step-brother Herman Lomax, Jack Williams, Flossie Hughes, Connie Lomax, Gertie Dunivant Fox, Bertha Yarbrough, Lizzie Broadway, and Louise McCormick.
Ortha was the wife of the late Woodrow Wilson Bingham. They married 22 August 1942. The celebrated their 50th anniversary with their family and friends in 1992, the year Woodrow's brother (L.E.) passed.
Ortha is the mother of two sons who still live in Alabama with their wives.
Ortha was raised in the south end of Decatur County. In the Bath Springs/Scotts Hill (Tennessee) area.
Ortha and her husband Woodrow lived in the Tuscaloosa Alabama area. They worked and raised their family here.
Ortha was laid to rest beside her husband, Woodrow, on Thursday January 14, 1999 at Memory Hill Gardens in Tuscalossa, AL.

God looked around the garden,
and found an empty space.
He looked down upon the earth,
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
for he only takes the best.
He knew that you were weary,
and he knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never,
be well on earth again.
He saw the roads were getting rough,
and the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids,
and whispered peace be thine.
