John Loetterle Fatally
Stricken While at Work
John L. Loetterle, 63, 1435 L street (sic) died at a local hospital an hour after he was stricken with a basal hemorrhage at work Monday evening. He had been employed as a printer by the Journal for 17 years.
Mr. Loetterle was born at Mount Pulaski, Illinois, and came to Nebraska at the age of three. He had been a resident of Lincoln since 1922. Mr. Loetterle was a member of the Royal Highlanders, Elks, Typographical Union and the Lutheran church (sic) at Deshler.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel; one son, Gerald J., Tyler, Texas; one daughter Mrs. Samuel T. Crouse, Lincoln; two brother, George and Jacob, both of Deshler and one grandson.---Lincoln Daily Star.
He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. W. L. Hochritner of Edgar.
