Wanda M Penn, 71
WELLSVILLE: Services will be held Wednesday for Wanda M Penn, 71, of Township Line Road, who died at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 1995, at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born April 11, 1924, in Shinston, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harry and Edith Taylor Lockhart.
She was a retired employee of the Bayley Envelope Co. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1942. She was a member of the Virginia Avenue Church of Christ in Chester.
She is survived by her husband, Donald W Penn, whom she married Nov. 9, 1973; a daughter, Janet Birch Novak of Wellsville; a son Bruce Birch of Rotunda, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Monahan of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Arlene J. Pendegrass of Deltona, Fla.; a stepson, Kerry W Penn of Jacksonville, Fla.; four brothers, Harold Lockhart of Warren, Elbert Lockhart of Flat Rock, Mich., Dallas Lockhart of Bielington, W.Va., and Foster Lockhart of Mesa, Ariz; and eight grandchildren.
Her first husband, Leland Birch, died in November 1971. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Lena Deem.
Evangelist Frnak Higginbotham will conduct the services at the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
