Myrtle L. Barnes
Funeral for Myrtle Lively Barnes, 87, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bob McNabb and Gene Lindsey officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barnes died Monday, April 7, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born August 23, 1915, in Morgan County to John Thomas and Lillie Gertrude Brown Lively. She was a homemaker. She was the widow of W.B. "Red" Barnes.
Survivors include two daughters, Eloise Grantland of Priceville and Annell Brown of Florette; three sisters, Monty Morgan and Mildred Olinger, both of Decatur; Johnnie Dunn of Mount Pleasant, Texas; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Grantland, Kenny Etheridge, Jarod Grantland, Terry Brown, Chad Brown and Jerry Smith.
