Comanche - RUBY LOREAN LITTRELL LEDFORD, 85, of Comanche, died Sunday, March 25, 2007, in Meridian Nursing Home.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Fairlawn Cemetery, with Dow Pannell officiating. Burial will be under direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
Lorean was born in August 1921, in Comanche, to Ace Franklin and Eva Jo Berry Littrell. She married Alford J. Ledford on August 31, 1940, in Walters. They lived in the Meridian community, north of Comanche. She graduated from Comanche High School and attended Cameron University. She was employed as a master printer by Halliburton Services until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Meridian.
Survivors include a son, Alford Joe and Kay Ledford of Comanche; two daughters, Paula Ledford Waller, and Nikki and Jim Sigler, all of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Donald Gene Allen, Timothy and Lynn Allen, Lynda Allen, and Shawn and Alice Sigler; great-grandchildren, Kira Allen Anderson, Amber Allen and Bobby Benson, Michauel and Ansley Allen, Brooke Allen and Tad Lierman, Lindsey Allen and Maddison Sigler; great-great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Kolton Lierman, Skyler Benson, Braden Allen and Caden Allen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alford Ledford; her parents; brothers, Carmon and T.R. Littrell; sisters, Imogene Littrell Peterman and Pauline Littrell Gill; and a granddaughter, Elisha Sigler.
