Lois M. Littlewind (Kampeska Duta Win / Red Shell Woman), age 58, of Fort Totten, ND, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at her home. She went into the Spirit World surrounded by her loving Tiyspaye.

Lois Marie Peltier was born on September 20, 1955, in Devils Lake, ND, the daughter of John and Gladys Peltier. She was educated at Matterson, SD, Fort Totten, ND, Flandreau, SD, and Maddock, ND. She was united in marriage to Dallas Littlewind Sr. for 20+ years.

She worked as a floor walker at the bingo hall in St. Michael, for many years. She also worked at the Aero-Space Center Jamestown, at Express, Dunseith ND, and McDonalds in Devils Lake, ND.

Lois was a loving, caring, generous, and most kind-hearted woman you'll ever meet. She loved her family dearly. She loved spending time with her sisters, boys, grandchildren, and being at the casino playing slots, pinochle, and Yahtzee.
