Mrs. Beaird was born May 26, 1923, in Simms, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended Cross Pointe Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Beaird, and one daughter, Cordell Beaird.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin and Janie Beaird of Wake Village, Texas, and Harold and Becky Beaird of Huntsville, Texas; one brother, Delwin Littleton of Rosenburg, Texas; two grandchildren, Terri Gravitt of Wake Village and James Beaird of Texarkana; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steven Gibbs officiating. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Huntsville, Texas, with the Rev. Carol Williams officiating.
