Docia was a talented needle-worker and through the years, knitted or crocheted hundreds of scarves, booties, afghans and pot-holders for family and friends. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and always had one laid out on a table.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at Cotten-Bratton.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of choice.
