She was born on October 4, 1928, in Morris County, Texas to Maxie Ellen Smires Littlefield and Henry Grady Littlefield.
Survivors include her sons, Stephen Harlan Black and his wife, Donna and Curtis Paul Black and his wife, Beth; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry J. "H.J." Littlefield and Billy Littlefield; and sister, Judy Maxine Littlefield.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harlan Hugh Black; and sister, Virginia Gradene.
Her funeral service will be at Broussard's, Silsbee, Texas, with interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
