Services for Carrie Lou Scott Little Davis, 86, are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ with Dr. Virgil Trout officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m., Oakland Cemetery, Madill.
Born Sept. 18, 1921, in Madill to Williamson Penn Scott and Mattie Lois Sacra Scott, she departed this life on June 23, 2008. She married Quintin Little on March 29, 1940, at Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death, Feb. 1, 1982. She married Robert H. Davis on Aug. 5, 1983. She had been a resident of Ardmore since 1944 after moving from Madill.
She graduated from Madill High School in 1939 as valedictorian. She played the clarinet and violin in the Madill Marching Band, and while in high school, she was a reporter for the Madill Record newspaper. She held an honorary doctorate in humanities from Oklahoma Christian University, Edmond.
She was an avid golfer and tennis player and a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation. She was a partner in the Quintin Little Company, oil and gas producers and explorers since 1938. She was on the board of directors at Pettijohn Springs Christian Youth Camp and Ardmore Day Nursery, a Trustee of Oklahoma Christian University and of the Charles B. Goddard Center, and on the Board of Trustees at Harding College, Searcy, Ark. She was president of the Ardmore Tennis Association, a member of the Junior Garden Club, Dornick Hills Ladies Golf Association, Oklahoma Christian College Women's Association Stepping Stones, on the Board of Trustees of the YWCA, and a member of Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ. She was a strong supporter of Pettijohn Springs Christian Youth Camp and Tipton Children's Home. She was also a benefactor of numerous Christian missionary works.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Jud Quintin Little, Ardmore, and Scott Little, Tennessee; a daughter, Penny Lou Little Downing and her husband, Bob, Tulsa; a step-daughter, Kim Caolo and her husband, Mark, Dallas; a step-son, Robert Davis and his wife, Karen, Dallas; two grandsons, Ward Williamson Downing, Washington, D.C., and Williamson Penn Little, San Francisco; a sister, Lillian Dale Scott Alexander; three granddaughters, Carrie Janice Downing Looney, Tulsa, Mattie Mires Little and Cate Little, both Ardmore.
Bearers will be Gene Neill, Dr. Terry Johnson, Chad Craddock, Andrew Jackson, Ward Williamson Downing, Williamson Penn Little, Robert Downing and Dr. Lloyd Thayer.

The family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
