(NEWELL) Funeral services for Addie Lee McCord Lipham, 105, of Newell were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2000, at Cool Springs Methodist Church, with the Revs. Frank Rasbury, Roy Connell and Cloyse Johnson officiating. Burial was in the adjoining church cemetery. Mrs. Lipham died Wednesday, April 12, at Clay County Hospital in Ashland. She was born in Cleburne County on April 19,1894, daughter of John William and Alma Ann Hicks McCord. She was a homemaker and a member of Cool Springs Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelley Lipham, and five children.
Survivors include a daughter, Lucille Awbrey of Atlanta; two sons, Roy Lee Lipham and Billy Fred Lipham, both of Newell; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Arrangements were by Benefield Funeral Home, Wedowee.
