The bodies of 14 OKC men are among the 4,384 World War II heroes to be returned to this country aboard the army transport Barney Kirschbaum. Armed forces dead originall buried in France, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg are among those returned. The next of kin will be notifed in advance of the arrival date of the vessel.

George joined the Army in 1941 and went overseas in Oct 1943. He was Killed In Action with the paratroops in Holland. He was awarded a presidential citation and the Purple Heart.
