Dorothy Virginia Lineberry, 75, of Galax, died Nov. 25, 2000, in Forsyth Memorial Hospital Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Atkins on Nov. 22, 1925, to Luther Poe and Louise Sexton. She is survived by her husband, Roy B. Lineberry; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Gary Patton of Galax; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Bettie Lineberry of Galax; sisters, Jo Ann Sumner of Woodlawn, Mary Rector of Advance, NC; three grandchildren, one step grandson, one step great-grandson. Funeral was Nov. 27 in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Ted Bartlett and the Rev. Fred Jennings. Entombment was in Monta Vista Mausoleum.
