Mary Frances "Fran" Braham, 85, of Elmwood died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1997, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born March 13, 1912, near Elmwood to William and Stella Shelton Lindzey, she married Delbert Eugene Braham on May 14, 1948. He died Dec. 10, 1976.
Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
A graduate of Methodist Medical Center School of Nursing, she was a nurse at Methodist Medical Center. She later was a private duty nurse.
She and her husband owned and operated Braham Jewelry Store in Elmwood for many years.
She was a volunteer for B.Y.E. Ambulance Service for many years.
Private graveside services will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
