Lieutenant Colonel Robert Hunter Lindsey, Jr. from Mount Juliet, TN, passed away August 23, 2013. He was born in Baltimore, MD, August 9, 1971, to Robert and Mary Ann Lindsey. After graduation from the University of Georgia, he began his military career in the United States Army. He served in Korea, Macedonia, Bosnia, and Kosovo, as well as taught at the United States Military Academy. He earned a Master's degree from Vanderbilt University in 2004, and was most recently working towards his PhD.

He is survived by his wife, Jenn; his sons Bennett and Jackson, and his sister Robin Dake. He was a very dedicated husband, father, and proud military officer.

He touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to www.fisherhouse.org.

A memorial service will be held August 30th at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Inurnment will follow the service at the Nashville National Cemetery.
