Ann Jeanette Lindley, a long-time South Bay resident, and more recently of Rancho Mirage, was called to her eternal home on October 23, 2013.

She was 88 years old. Born in Eugene Oregon to Casper and Bethel Wood, Ann attended Northwestern Christian College in Minneapolis, Minnesota and then transferred to BIOLA College which was located at The Church of the Open Door in downtown L.A. She came to Hermosa Beach to stay with her sister, Lurlene, and her husband due to a bout with pneumonia. It was during this stay in 1948 that she met and would later marry Walter Lindley, a union that lasted 65 years.

Her husband, Walter, and brothers Herb and Bryant Wood precede Ann in death.

She is survived by her three loving children Mark (Marilyn) Lindley, Dan (Marlene) Lindley, and Lynnette (John) Kooker, six adored grandchildren, Brett (Natalie) Lindley, Ryan Lindley, John (Stacy) Kooker, Rosalynn Kooker, Megan Lindley, and Randi DeNicola, and two great grandsons, Silas Kooker and Thomas Lindley, as well as her sister, Lurlene Anderson.
