Survived by Sisters Yvonne (Linderman) Burgess Levesque, and Jean (Linderman) Frederick Mancill, both of Houston, Texas. Preceded in death by Sister, "Billie" Yvarra (Linderman)Jackson of Houston, Texas.
Wife of J. E. "Jay" Cooke of Matagorda, Guadalupe County, Texas. John Elva Cooke survived his wife, Patsy.
Aunt Patsy died of Lung Cancer.
Mother of four children. One son, John Harry Cooke, preceded her in death in 1952 at one month of age.
Survived by two Sons, Steve Cooke of Matagorda, Texas, Matthew Cooke of Kingsbury, Texas; and daughter, "Becker" Rebecca Cooke (Reeder Floyd) of Kingsbury, Texas.
Patsy was a L.V.N. for years.
She was an artist like her Mother, Phylis Eugenia (Palen) Linderman. The Cookes, Lindermans, Jacksons, and the Fredericks had a summer places in Gayhill, Texas. Phylis & Harry William "Billy" Linderman owned a tavern named "Saturday's Tavern", in Gayhill, in the 1950's. Phyl played the piano, Harry tended bar, Kenneth Jackson, Patsy Cooke and Phyl Linderman sang in the tavern together.
