Age 74 years, died Saturday, August 4, 2001 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Tunica, Miss. A resident of the Joliet/Lockport area for over 50 years. A member of Prayer Tower Church for 43 years. A bus driver for district 204. Formerly employed at L.T.H.S. and Reisberg Jewelry.
Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Bertha is survived by her devoted husband, King Lincoln Jr., one daughter, Bertha( Johnie ) Young of Lockport. Seven sons: Thedothis Lincoln and Terry Lincoln both of Lockport, Cleothis( Helen ) Lincoln of Joliet. Ozell ( Ada ) Lincoln of Joliet, King ( Debbie ) Lincoln of Kansas City, Misouri. Robert ( Karen ) Lincoln of Thief River Falls, Minn. and Jerry ( Dawn ) Lincoln of Bolingbrook. Thirty grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers: James Brown and Henry ( Marilyn )Hammond both of Joliet. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A devoted friend, Dorothy Gee of Lockport.
Funeral services will be Sunday 8:00 PM at Prayer Tower Church. Rev. Warren Doris, officiating. Visitation Sun. 2-4 PM at Range Funeral Home and 6-8 PM at the church. Interment Monday 10:00 AM to Woodlawn Cemetery.
