IMOGENE E. BLEDSOE, daughter of Lawrence and Emogene Ragean Lillard, was born May 5, 1944, in Lebanon, Missouri and departed this life August 7, 2011, also in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years.

On December 18, 1965, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, James Bledsoe and to this union was born two sons, both surviving. At the time of her passing, she and James had celebrated forty-six wonderful years together.

Imogene was a devoted wife and mother and took great pride in providing a warm and inviting environment for her family and friends. She was the definition of homemaker and wanted to make sure everyone that came to her house felt like they were at "home."

When she wasn't tending to her children and house hold chores, she enjoyed quilting. She was a very talented seamstress and never made two quilts alike. She wanted each one to be unique. However, her most treasured moments were those spent with her loving family.

Imogene is survived by her husband James; two sons, David and his wife Gracie and John; one brother, Larry Lillard; one sister, Carolyn Ward and her husband Jack, all of Lebanon, MO; three grandchildren, Caleb and Julie Bledsoe, and Teka Early; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Early; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Imogene was a loving wife, doting mother, fun-loving grandmother, cherished sister and loyal friend. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her through the years will miss the laughter but cherish the memories. She will be greatly missed.
