Robert Heston Lile Sr. was the son of Lafayette (Raglin?) Lile & Mary Jane (Mollie or Polly) Tarrant. He resided in Grayson County, Kentucky for most of his life and was a salesman for the Jewel Tea Company. He was preceded in death by one son Roy Thompson Lile (1904 - 1943) His first marriage to Ella Gertrude Thompson ended with her death. He then married Ada Florence Thompson (Gertrude's sister). He was a very soft-spoken and pious family man.
