Laketon Woman Dies
Wabash, Ind. June 9-Mrs. Mercie Figert, aged 41 years died at her home near Laketon Wednesday after several months of illness. Following her marriage in 1901 she and her husband lived on a farm near Sidney. Mrs. Figert leaves five children: Curtis, Chester, Travis, Carol and Eve. Her husband and parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Likens of near Laketon, and a sister Mrs. Lena Moyer and a brother Ansel of North Webster survive. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Laketon United Brethren Church.

Funeral of Mrs. Wilbur Figert
North Manchester, Ind. June 10 - The funeral services for Mrs. Wilbur Figert aged 30, who died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Likens near here Wednesday following an illness with cancer for some time were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Laketon with the Rev. O. P. Givens officiating assisted by the Rev. Moine Landis. Interment was made in the cemetery near Laketon.
Mrs. Figert is survived by her parents, her husband and five children.
