THE DAILY PLAIN DEALER WABASH INDIANA TUESDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY 25, 1913
About 11 o'clock Monday night occurred the death of Mrs. Ellen Ayres at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lyman Harris, residing four miles southwest of Roann, death being due to a complication of diseases with which she had been suffering for the past two weeks. Mrs. Ayres, who was past 54 years of age was the widow of Caleb Ayres, who preceded her in death several years ago. She is survived by seven children, namely, George, residing at West Lebanon; John, of Silver Lake; Frank, of Catawa; Charles of Weldon, Ill.; Ed of Silver Lake; Henry of Silver Lake, and Mrs. Lyman Harris, residing southwest of Roann. The funeral services will be held from the Lutheran church at Laketon, Thursday afternoon. Internment will be made in the Laketon cemetery.
Note: the newspaper must have gotten the place of internment wrong or Caleb and Ellen were later moved.
