By 1921, Marvin had moved to Santa Barbara, California. He married Margaret Curran and they had a daughter, Jean Light. Margaret passed away in 1935 and Marvin married Hazel Cecil (Brown) Stoner who was the mother of Jack Brown Stoner (1923-1991).
