Henrietta A. Dake, age 75, of California, Mo., passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City, Mo.
She was born July 3, 1929, the daughter of Tony and Nettie Werdenhousen Libbert, both of whom preceded her in death. On October 16, 1946, she was married in Kansas City, Kansas, to Norbert (Norb) Dake, who survives of the home.
Henrietta worked at several restaurants in the Jefferson City area, worked at Cheseborough- Ponds (Unilever), Scholastic and Florsheim, all of Jefferson City, Mo. She was of the Catholic faith and attended Simonsen School in Jefferson City, Mo.
Other survivors include one son: Gary Dake, with his wife Ann, of Jefferson City, Mo.; two brothers: Charlie Libbert of Jefferson City, Mo., and Willie Libbert with his wife Rose, of Meta, Mo.; one sister: Pauline Imsland of Jefferson City, Mo.; two grandchildren: Stephanie and Jon Dake, both of Jefferson City, Mo., and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Lionel and Sylvester Libbert.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 24, 2004, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Weber and Sons Chapel in California, Mo.
Memorial service will be Saturday, July 24, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Weber and Sons Chapel with Fr. Greg Higley officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice. Complete funeral arrangements are under the direction of Weber and Sons Funeral Home in California, Mo.
