Emma Armstrong, 93, died at 7:50 p.m. Sunday at Indiana University Bloomington Hospital.
Born Nov. 18, 1918, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Fred and Travie (Wood) Lewis.
She was a secretary at Odon High School for 22 years and retired in 1974. She was a member of Odon United Methodist Church and Eastern Star Chapter No. 34.
She is survived by a son, Steven Armstrong of Linton; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Leona Dittmer of Huntingburg, Olevia Ingle of Ossian, and Joyce Emerson of Speedway.
Her husband, Raymond Armstrong, died May 14, 1997, and a daughter, Karen "Kay" Edwards, died June 11, 2009. An infant son, Raymond Lewis Armstrong; one granddaughter; one brother; and her parents are also deceased.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home, Odon Chapel, with Rev. Lonnie Goen officiating.
Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
