Clinton Lewis, 80, of Tollesboro, passed away at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011, at Golden Living Center in Vanceburg.
He was November 28, 1930, at Brazil, IN., to the late Ralph and Olive Cooper Lewis.
He was a retired custodian for the Lewis County board of Education and attended Evans Chapel Church.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Lewis, Markcus Lewis and Carlos Lewis.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Howard Lewis, two daughters, Barbara Bryant of Tollesboro and Lois (Michael) Ginn of Sharpsburg, one son, Larry (Charlotte) Lewis of Maysville, three sisters, Mildred (Robert) Owens, Wanda (Ron) Morgan and Joyce (Gary) Stone, all of Vanceburg, two brothers, Robert (Edna) Lewis of Vanceburg and Vernon Lewis of Bucyrus, OH., six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, with Bro. David Lester officiating. Burial will be in Lewis County Memory Gardens in Vanceburg.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and at 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
