Nellie Jane Lewis, 81, of Ft. Myers, FL, died Monday, June 9, 2008 at South West Florida Regional Medical Center.
Born January 25, 1927, at Vanceburg, she was a daughter of the late William and Pearl Opal Ellis Shumate, and the widow of Philip Homer Lewis, who died November 7, 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of Evans Chapel Church. Survivors include a son, Larry Thomas Lewis of Ft. Myers, and a daughter, Bonnie Jane Lewis of New Port Richey, FL.
Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg. Rev. Rusty Evans and Rev. Harold Eugene Evans officiated with burial in Evans Cemetery at Vanceburg.
