She was born April 2, 1942, in Switzerland County, the daughter of Joseph B. and Evelyn "Eva" Romans Pickett. She was raised and resided most of her life in Vevay. She was previously employed with Regional Youth; Plastic Molding Factory in East Enterprise; the U.S. Shoe factory in Vevay; Grote Manufacturing in Madison; and had also served as a caregiver to the elderly. She was a member of the Florence Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing, gambling, antiques and collectibles.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald T. Lewis, whom she married in Nov. 1971; one son, Bill Lewis of Vevay; one daughter, Peggy White of Carrollton, Ky.; one brother, Charles Pickett of Vevay; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Janie Miller and Mary K. Jones.
The funeral was at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial was in Vevay Cemetery.
