William M. Lewis, 67, died Thursday at a local hospital. He was a native of Chambers Prairie and had lived in this vicinity all his life, the last two months at McKenna. He was a former mill worker. Surviving are his wife, Edna, of the home; sons, Harold of Centralia; Kenneth and Grover of Tenino; daughters, Mrs. Thelma Batson and Mrs. Mona Holms of Tacoma and Mrs. Leona Carrier and Mrs. Ralph Rabb of Portland; a sister, Mrs. Rilla Hamilton of Tacoma and a brother, Nicholas of Taholah. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Cassedy & Allen chapel, the Rev. Hans Svinth presiding; burial at New Tacoma cemetery.
