Mary Elizabeth Lewelling was born near Adrian, Kans., May 12, 1897. She was educated at the High Prairie District School near her home, with two years of High School in Holton and and two years in St. John, Kans. After teaching five years in Stafford County, Kans., on June 6, 1923 she married Orville Clinton Fry, of Sedgwick, Kans., where they have since resided. He is a machinist, veteran of World War I. They have two children.
