Victoria Blong, 86, of Gaylord, died Friday, Jan. 16 at Otsego Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Blong, a lifetime resident of Gaylord, was born Dec. 6, 1894. She was a member of St. Mary's Rosary Society and a member of the 3rd Order of St. Francis.
Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Blong were held Monday, Jan. 19, from the Nelson Funeral Home and from St. Mary Cathedral, interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Mrs. Blong is survived by two sisters, Mary Samkowiak and Rose Szecinski, both of Gaylord; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Blong was in state at the Nelson Funeral Home, Saturday and Sunday. St. Mary's Rosary Society offered a rosary Sunday afternoon. A parish rosary – wake service was offered Sunday evening, both from the Nelson Funeral Home.
