MARJORIE MAE (LEVERING) BEISEL formerly of Rockledge, passed from this life March 7, 2008 at the age of 81. She was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late George B. and Myrtle M, Levering. She was the wife of the late Gilbert G. Beisel, Jr. A member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, she enjoyed serving on the altar guild for many years. A devoted mother and wife, she enjoyed camping with her family and the Lenape Nomads Camping Club. She was also active in serving her community and local senior citizen organization. Mrs. Beisel is survived by a brother Donald Levering, her sons Gilbert G. III (Olena), David D. (Margie) and Steven S. (Karen), 12 grand-children, 2 great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Claire (Beisel) Miller and her husband Walter. A sister, Dorothea (Wells) preceded her in death. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service Tues., 11 A.M. at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 7965 Fillmore St, Phila where friends may call after 10 A.M. Int. Hillside Cem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Benevolent Care Fund at Phila Protestant Home, 6500 Tabor Rd, Phila, PA 19111.
