She was born March 29, 1914, in Jamestown, IL., the daughter of Edward and Elise (Pfister) Leu.
On April 19, 1933, (Highland EUC Church records) she married William A. Beichel, who passed away April 14, 1980.
Mrs. Beichel grew up on a farm East of Highland and attended Fricker County School. She moved to Highland as a young woman where she worked for Highland Embroidery Works. She also did babysitting in their individual homes. She loved to play Bingo and cards (she had been in a pinchole club for 45+ years). She braided rugs, canned, took care of the family garden and fruit trees, and enjoyed her grandchildren.
She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ-Highland, IL. She was also a member of Royal Neighbors of America #1957; Weinheimer Senior Citizens Highland, IL.
