Paralee 1st married Jefferson Franklin "Jeff" Pardue, on Jun 6, 1872, in Dallas Co AL. She 2nd married Benjamin Franklin "Bernie" Harrison, on Dec 1, 1895, in Bowie County Texas. She had seven known children with Jeff. Her 2nd husband had four known children, from a pevious marriage. Both husbands are buried here at this cemetery.

Three of her brothers served in the Civil War, and a bother-in-law: Thomas Giles, John Jackson, and Stephen Baker Letcher, they survived the war, but with injuries. Originally, they were all in same unit, Co A, 20th AL Infantry Regiment. Her sister Luvenia's hushand, James P Shaver, also served in the same unit.
