Birth: unknown
St. Lawrence County
New York, USA
Death: Feb. 5, 1897

Valley Center Index, February 12, 1897

Died on last Saturday, Feb. 6th, Mrs. Harriet Fisher passed quietly away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Obrist about 8 o'clock Saturday morning. Mrs. Fisher was eighty years of age and came to this country in 1872 and was well known by all the old settlers to this county. She is the widow of the late Judge H. B. Fisher who died some three years since. The immediate cause of Mrs. Fisher's death was the "La Grippe" but she had been slowly growing feeble for some time and realized that the end must soon come. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon from the home of her eldest son Jonathan Fisher, 1237 North Wichita St. Wichita. The family have the sympathy of the whole community in the loss of this kind and gentle mother whose life had been so unselfish and faithful, so full of love and charity for every one that needed help, and who gave happiness and contentment everywhere she went.
