Faye Evelyn Bahmuller was born March 22, 1923 at Alexandria, SD, to Elmer and Rosa (Fisher) Letcher. She grew up in the Alexandria area and attended Beulah Township School. She was baptized at the First Baptist Church at Emery on April 21, 1935. On February 25, 1949 she married Alton Bahmuller at the First Baptist Parsonage at Emery. They farmed southeast of Alexandria for many years until they retired and moved to Mitchell. She had been a resident of the Diamond View Center in Bridgewater since 2011. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Emery.

Faye is survived by her husband, Alton of Mitchell; her son, Gary Bahmuller and wife, Dorothy of Alexandria; her daughter Linda Wagner of Mitchell; six grandchildren and their spouses: Nicholas Bahmuller and wife, Jan of Alexandria; Becky Doyle and husband, Brett of Alexandria; Aaron Bahmuller and wife, Jessica of Alexandria; Brian Bahmuller and wife, Melisa of Alexandria; Tim Wagner and wife, Danielle of Mitchell; Katie Wagner and fiancé, Nick Jacob of Portland, OR; thirteen great-grandchildren; her brother, Sherman Letcher of Mitchell; her twin sister, Fern Huber of Alexandria; and three sisters-in-law, Clara Letcher of Alexandria, Marie Bahmuller of Bridgewater, Sadie Bahmuller of Springfield and a brother-in-law, Leeroy Bahmuller of Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Letcher and LeRoy Letcher; and two sisters, Leona Osborn Whitman and Shirley Letcher.
