She was the daughter of William and Susan Merrill Sprowl of Cherryfield, Maine, where she was born. She was a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music, and was very active in musical circles. Not only did her musical ability give great joy to many people, but she was much loved by all for her kindness and benevolence.
She leaves, besides her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Leonard, of Westfield, Connecticut; several grandchildren; two sisters, and one brother. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Wareham, Street Agnes Guild, and Noble Everett Chapter, D.A.R.
Funeral services will be held this (Friday) afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Wareham, Rev. A. L. Fenderson and Rev. Rundel of North Adams officiating. Burial will be at the Center cemetery.
