Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley for Ramona L. Aguilar, 98, of Brawley, who died Friday in Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Brawley. The Rev. Roque Vano will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.

Mrs. Aguilar was born on March 13, 1906, in San Bartolo, Baja California, Mexico.

She came to the United States on July 4, 1917, settling in Brawley, where she met and married Juan Aguilar.

Mrs. Aguilar lived in Brawley until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Aguilar, in 1968.

Survivors include nieces and their spouses, Teresa and Luis Curiel of Brawley and Mary and David Barcenas of El Centro; nieces, Angie S. Garcia of Brawley, Rosalie Lizalde of Guadalupe, Socorro Espinoza of Bakersfield and Henrietta Leon of Martinez; nephews and their spouses, Joe and Helen Noriega and Robert and Rachel Noriega, all of Brawley, Jesse and Mary Noriega of Hemet, Johnny and Patty Lizalde of Guadalupe and Jose Luis and Rachel Cordero of Mexicali; nephews, Herb Lizalde of San Diego, Lenny Lizalde of Atwater and Manuel Cordero of Mexicali.
