He retired from the Civil Service as an Air Force Material Command Quality Control specialist.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Wright Lenz of Deer Park, Wash.; a daughter, Linda Robertson of San Antonio; two brothers, Jesse Lenz of Forth Worth and Lafoye Lenz of Mesquite; an aunt, Alma Berger of Cisco; two uncles, including August Lenz of Cisco; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
