Flagg-Martha L., 87, of Kelso, died Dec. 4, 1973 in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1886 in Michigan, had been a resident of the Kelso area since 1919 and was preceded in death by her husband, the late Earl W. Flagg in 1959. They had operated the Flagg's Jewelry store from 1919-1944. She was a member of the Kelso Presbyterian Church since 1919, the Kelso Woman's Club, Friendship Circle and the Bible Study Circle. Survivors include two sons, Jack Flagg of Kelso, and Robert Flagg of Los Angeles; one sister, Emma Lentz of Chehalis. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Steppert officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at the Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens. Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
