Lawrence Lennox
Lawrence Lennox, 76, or 5 Cottage Place Gardens, died Saturday at his home.
Born in Yonkers on April 17, 1891, son of Patrick and Bridget Coakley Lennox, he attended St. Mary's Parochial School. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church on Lamartine Avenue. He married Mary Overy in St. Joseph's Church in 1911.
A metal lather in the construction industry, he was a member of Local 226 of the Lathers Union.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Joseph L., Edward, William and Richard, all of Yonkers; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Luverda) Cannon of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Arnita of Yonkers; 20 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
