Death of Mrs. Nicholas Haerle
Mrs. Elizabeth Lenertz Haerle, wife of Nicholas Haerle, died Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at her home in East Lexington. Her death being due to old age and general debility.
Mrs. Haerle was born in Manderschied, Germany, June 27, 1829, and was in her 84th year. In 1854 she came to this country. She was married to Nicholas Haerle in Chicago, May 6, 1955. In 1850 they moved to Lexington, where they have since resided.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, F.R., and Gustave of this city, and F.W., of Minneapolis, Minn.
Mrs. Haerle was a member of the Catholic church. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a good friend. The Intelligencer joins with all those who knew and loved her, in expressions of sorrow and sympathy to the family.
The funeral services, conducted by Father G.B. Curry, will be held this morning at 10 o'clock at the Catholic church. Interment will be in Machpelah.
