Almus Witt Lemmons, Sr., 65 of Campbell, Missouri died March 12, 1951. He died from pancreatic cancer at his home. Mr. Lemmons was a farmer and had lived in Campbell for the past 16 years. He was born in Randolph County, Arkansas, the son of James Samuel and Lucinda (Sexton) Lemmons.
Mr. Lemmons was preceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kizzie (Slayton) Lemmons. He was the father of nine children; Kathryn, Talton, Daisy, Lena, Lima, James, Willa June, Ray T, and Almus Witt "Dub", Jr.
Funeral services were held March 14, 1951 in Campbell, Missouri with Landess Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Campbell, Missouri.
