Charleen L. Mason, 82, of Bellmead, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009, at a local nursing home. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 22, at Bellmead Funeral Home with Rusty Kwast officiating. Burial will be Monday, May 25, at Nichols Memorial Cemetery near Kerrville, Texas. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at the funeral home.

Charleen was born in Eastgate, Texas, to the late Charles Henry and Eddie (Fowler) Leinweber. She graduated from Ring Gold High School and attended business school in Ft. Worth. She was a child care provider for many years.

Survivors include her nephews, Michael Hollingsworth, of Georgetown, Gene Muehring and his wife, Karel, of Illinois, and John Dendy, of Houston; nieces, Carol Blount, of Oklahoma, Annette Hollingsworth, of Washington, and Peggy Kay Fridlund, of California; and several great-nieces and nephews.
