WINSTON-SALEM Carolyn Perryman Leinbach A memorial service for Carolyn P. Leinbach will be held at 10:00 a.m., Sat June 29th, in the Mausoleum at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3771 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC. The services will be held inside the mausoleum with parking on the same level as entrance. The family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. There will be another short visitation following the service. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations go to the Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011 or go to www.alz.org to donate. ATLANTA, GA Carolyn Perryman Leinbach May 12, 2013 Carolyn Perryman Leinbach passed away peacefully in Atlanta, GA May 12, 2013. Carolyn and her husband Gray moved from their long-time Virginia Beach home to Atlanta three years ago to be near their son Brian and his family. Carolyn was born February 1937 in Winston-Salem, NC, to Clyde Mayfield and Lucile Yarbrough Perryman. She grew up in the Old Town Community, graduating in the last senior class at Old Town High School. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Wake Forest in 1959 and taught in secondary schools. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, mother and father, brother S. David Perryman, step-mother Lois C. Perryman, and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband Gray, her son Brian K. Leinbach, daughter-in-law Jo, and grandsons Parker M. and Griffin F. Leinbach, whom she adored. She is also survived by her sister, Dianne P. Wilson of Oak Ridge, TN, step-sisters Carol C. Johnson and husband Bill of Greensboro, NC, and Judy C. Petree and husband G.C. of Pfafftown, NC. Also surviving are brother-in-law Philip Leinbach and wife Nancy of Durham, N.C., sister-in-law Ann Avery and husband George of PA, niece and nephews, many cousins and friends. A burial service will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park, Winston-Salem, NC, announced at a later date.
