She was born here, November 15, 1873, daughter of the late John D. and Susan Streeter Leigh, and had always lived in Westdale. Her marriage to Mr. Gifford took place on October 12, 1893. Mrs. Gifford was an active member of the local M. E. Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, William H. at home; Gordon E. of Canton, N.Y.; John D. of Norman, Okla.; a granddaughter, Mary Gifford at home; a sister, Mrs. E. N. Adams of Adams, N.Y. and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at her late home on Friday at 2 p.m. and interment, in charge of B. A. Sanborn & Son, Camden will be made in Westdale.
