The funeral for Grace Alma Boyd, 93, of Athens, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Spry Funeral Home with Buc Chumbley and Greg Legg officiating. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd died Tuesday, July 2, 2008, at the Limestone Health Facility (Athens, AL).
She was born May 23, 1915, in Limestone County and was a homemaker. She was a 1936 graduate of Clements High School and a member of Westview Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Malcolm E. Boyd.
She is survived by two sons, Edward Boyd of Clarkston, Mich., and Dwight Boyd of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Robbie Romine of Athens and Elise Bridges of Florence; one brother, Billy Joe Legg of Athens; one granddaughter, Tina Dommer of Goodwich, Mich.; two great-granddaughters, Alisha Dommer and Trisha Dommer, both of Goodwich, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
