Aaron was a Minuteman in the Revolutionary War and was in Lexington when Paul Revere and William Dawes made there historic ride warning that the British were coming on April 19 1775.

Aaron and all 5 of his sons were in the Revolutionary War, Moses Legg, Reuben Legg, David Legg, Joel Legg, and Nathan legg.

He m. 07 Nov 1751 Mendon, MA

Aaron's great great great grandfather was John Legg born 1609 in England came to Marblehead, Mass. about 1630.
